SDK Intelligence

SDK Intelligence

With the App Watchlist, you’ll be able to see which SDKs are currently integrated into each app that you track, as well as which SDKs have been removed from them.

In addition, with the changelog feature, you’ll be able to identify when these SDKs were installed or removed. As such, you’ll have a better understanding of how the apps’ tech stacks have evolved over time.

App Store Optimization (ASO) Insights

Keywords are essential for App Store Optimization (ASO). That’s why the App Watchlist makes it possible to monitor keyword rankings for all the apps you track.

Find all keywords your watchlist apps rank for. See app rankings for specific keywords. Gain insight into near real-time ranking changes, keyword traffic metrics, and keyword ranking difficulty.

With these insights, you can:

  • Keep an eye on your ASO strategy.
  • See how your keyword performance stacks up to competitors.
  • Pick out high-value keywords you should be optimizing for.
  • And more!

Currently, the App Watchlist supports the English language for the US App Store and Google Play Store. However, more languages and countries will be available in the near future.

How our customers are using our App Watchlist

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How many apps can I add to the App Watchlist?

It depends on your subscription! At 42matters, we offer app data and intelligence at a variety of price points, which you can review here. In addition, your subscription tier dictates the number of changes you can make to your app watchlist per month.

Is historical app data available by default?

With the App Watchlist, you’ll be able to access historical data going back one year. However, if you’d like to analyze app data from further back, you’ll need to sign up for our Historical Package. To learn more, contact our team!

How many app changes can I make?

This also depends on your subscription. Each tier comes with an allotted number of monthly changes. This number, which you can track when adding apps to your App Watchlist, is reset each month. However, as noted above, only adding and removing apps counts against your monthly changes. Things like reorganizing the order in which your apps appear or adjusting date ranges in the Historical Performance section do not.

Do you plan on adding new features?

Absolutely! We’re constantly adding new features and functionalities to our solutions. If you’d like to learn more about our current roadmap for the 42matters App Watchlist, feel free to set up a call  with one of our app intelligence experts!

Can I propose a new feature for the App Watchlist?

Of course! In fact, customer feedback was the impetus for creating the App Watchlist. Over the years, we received numerous questions about our mobile app and game benchmarking capabilities. But while our suite of products facilitated tracking, they weren’t necessarily designed for that purpose. So, we actually built the App Watchlist to address customer demand. That said, we can’t satisfy every request. However, you can rest assured that we take them very seriously! If you’d like to propose a new feature, feel free to contact us!

If I add the same app on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, how does that impact my monthly app quota?

Your monthly app quota (i.e. the number of apps you can track per month) is based on your subscription. iOS and Android versions of the same app are treated as separate apps for tracking purposes. As such, if you add both versions of a particular app to your App Watchlist, it will count as two apps against your monthly app quota.
